About Me
I have lots of experience of teaching and playing Jazz, Blues, Rock and Country styles over the last 25 years. Over the years I have played in many bands covering many different styles. I love to play Jazz guitar in my spare time these days but will often be found playing everything from a bit of Hendrix and Swing Blues to Country. My influences are Eric Clapton, Carlos Santana, Free, Joe Pass, amongst many others. I am a member of the Registry Of Guitar Tutors.
Guitar Lessons
I am able to teach to a high level most types of guitar styles. However I don’t teach classical as this is a highly specialized discipline. I teach a mix of what the student wants to learn, and what I think he needs to know, so some theory and scales will come into the lessons whether you play Rock,Blues or Jazz. Lessons are based on half hour slots. I offer a course of six lessons at a discounted price for the beginner.
Location
I live and teach in the Stockport area and am only 10 min from Manchester city centre.
